Sales Policy
1. Purpose
This Sales Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which Turbo Diesel Components ("we", "our", or "TDC") sells parts and products to its customers, in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act No. 68 of 2008 (CPA) of South Africa.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all sales made by Turbo Diesel Components, whether through direct sales, online portals, phone/email orders, or authorised resellers.
3. Orders and Acceptance
All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by TDC.
We reserve the right to reject or cancel orders in the event of pricing errors, stock discrepancies, or suspected fraudulent activity.
A legally binding contract is formed only once a formal invoice or delivery note is issued.
4. Pricing and Payment Terms
All prices are quoted in South African Rands (ZAR), exclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated.
Pricing is subject to change without prior notice.
Full payment is due before dispatch, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payfast is the preferred method of payment. Orders are only processed once payment is successfully confirmed via the Payfast gateway.
5. Delivery
TDC endeavours to dispatch all orders within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation.
Delivery times are estimates only. TDC is not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or force majeure events.
Risk transfers to the customer upon collection by the courier or upon delivery from our premises.
6. Warranties
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, TDC parts carry a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects.

The warranty is voided if:
The product is used outside its intended application
There is evidence of abuse, incorrect installation, or negligence
The product has been disassembled or tampered with
7. Product Suitability and Fitment
Customers must confirm part compatibility before purchasing.
TDC offers technical guidance but assumes no responsibility for incorrect selections.
Installation must be performed by qualified professionals. Proof of fitment by a certified workshop may be required for warranty claims.
8. Returns and Exchanges
All returns must be authorised by TDC prior to dispatch.
Return requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the goods.
Returned goods must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by valid proof of purchase.
A 15% handling fee may apply unless the return is due to a TDC error or defective product.

9. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable under any circumstance:
Electronic components (e.g., control modules)
Opened gaskets or seal kits
Custom-made or special-order parts
10. Limitation of Liability
TDC’s liability is limited to the replacement of defective parts or refund of the purchase price.
Under no circumstances shall TDC be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including, but not limited to, labour costs, downtime, or loss of income.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising under this policy must first be addressed directly with TDC.
If unresolved, disputes will be referred to arbitration under the rules of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA).
12. Policy Amendments
TDC reserves the right to amend this Sales Policy at any time.
